Welcome John and Mandy!  My daughter will be a sophomore this year so we
survived the first year!  You'll love the orientation days at WU - I had
so much fun.  We live in Minnesota and will be driving to Salem with a
stop in Portland.   We plan to do some shopping, including Powell Books,
and we've heard that we should have breakfast at Zell's.  Any other must
do's??  We'll have about a day and a half.

 

My daughter loved WU and had a great freshman year - I hope the same is
true for your daughter.
