Hello,
 
I'm the mother of a second year student.  I'm pleased with the way my daughter has adapted and the friendships and opportunities that she has at Willamette.  Freshman year is always an adjustment, particularly for her when my husband and I live in Asia and she has no "home" in the U.S. for Thanksgiving and holidays.  I'm proud of her and the choices she is making.
 
I'm also happy to see that the school has provided a means for parents to communicate and connect with each other.  As far as I know, this is new.  I hope it will be active since we all have something great in common - future Willamette alumni!
 
I am not an expert, but am happy to offer my limited perspective if any parents have questions.  Good luck and enjoy Opening Days!
