I second the recommendation here to work via Bishop or the athletic
trainers, if applicable.
Our son is a soccer player, has had a couple of injuries requiring
orthopedic follow-up, and we have had no issues with Salem hospital,
radiology, or associated orthopedic care.  It has all been just fine.
In the case of athletes, the care given by trainers and staff is excellent.
Our son says: "They really care about us!" Perhaps someone at Sparks could
provide the orthopedic referral Valerie are looking for - I'm sure they know
who is good in town.

My daughter unfortunately just took a horrible fall going to math class  we
were concerned that she had fractured her knee. She went to Mission Imaging
next to Salem hospital yesterday- security drove her so didn't have to
hobble. I just found out she bruised it nicely but no fracture. Bishop, WU,
coaches (she's on crew) have been there throughout her various injuries. If
you have questions I would suggest you call or have ur child contact Bishop
to know protocol.
